Sleeper have announced their biggest UK tour since reforming, with the band set to take their forthcoming sixth studio album, End of the World, on the road in March and April 2027.

South London four-piece Turin Brakes will join them as special guests on all ten dates, bringing together two of Britain’s most respected guitar bands on one bill.

The End of the World Tour opens at Nottingham’s Rock City on Friday 12 March 2027 and visits Manchester, Sheffield, Newcastle, Glasgow, Bristol, London, Brighton and Norwich. The run includes a Saturday night show at London’s Roundhouse on 27 March, before it closes at Birmingham’s O2 Institute on Saturday 3 April.

A pre-sale opens at 10am on Wednesday 14th October, and fans can sign up for access at arep.co/m/sleeper. General sale follows at 10am on Friday 16th October, with tickets available at Sleeper.band.

Frontwoman Louise Wener says she can’t wait to bring the new material to audiences.

“I’m really looking forward to taking this album out on the road,” says Wener. “These new songs mean a lot to me, and I think they’re going to sound fantastic live. There’s something wonderful about finally playing them in a room with people and making that emotional connection with a crowd.”

She adds: “We’re so excited that Turin Brakes are joining us – we’ve been fans for a long time, so it’s going to be a special combination.”

The tour news follows the release of Sleeper’s new single, End of the World, which is out now and also serves as the album’s title track. It opens a new chapter for the band, and for Wener as a songwriter.

The album itself arrives on 12 February 2027, a month before the first show. It’s a deeply personal collection of ten songs that pairs Sleeper’s instinct for huge melodies and anthemic choruses with a newfound emotional directness.

End of the World was written and recorded between Paris and Manchester, and produced by Joe Cross, whose credits include The Courteeners, Hurts, Louis Tomlinson and The Slow Readers Club.

Across its ten tracks, the record moves through grief, regret, loneliness, heartbreak and renewal. It ultimately becomes an album about finding the strength to let go and reclaim yourself.

Where 2019’s The Modern Age marked Sleeper’s return to the studio and a reconnection with their identity as a band, End of the World is described as capturing an artist discovering what she has to say now. Despite its emotional weight, the band say the album is bold and euphoric in sound, with Wener’s trademark hooks running throughout.

On stage, Sleeper will play songs from the new album alongside the classic tracks that made them one of the defining guitar bands of the 1990s.

Joining them are Turin Brakes, the band founded by childhood friends Olly Knights and Gale Paridjanian. Their 10th studio album, Spacehopper, was released in 2025.

Turin Brakes’ catalogue includes the Mercury Prize-nominated, Gold-certified The Optimist LP and 2003’s Top 5 album Ether Song, which featured the Top 5 single Pain Killer (Summer Rain). With seven Top 40 singles, six Top 40 albums and more than one million records sold worldwide, they remain one of the UK’s most enduring alternative bands.

Sleeper first emerged in the mid-90s, scoring eight Top 40 singles across three Top 10 albums and selling more than one million records of their own.

During that first run, they toured to sell-out crowds across the UK, US and Japan and played the main stages at Reading and Glastonbury. They also toured with Blur, supported R.E.M. at Milton Keynes Bowl and toured the US with Elvis Costello.

The band split in 1998 before re-forming in 2017. They returned with The Modern Age in 2019, their first studio album in more than 20 years, which reached the UK Top 20 and was followed by sold-out UK tours and major festival appearances.

Now, with End of the World and their largest tour since that comeback, Sleeper are entering a new phase. The full list of dates for the End of the World Tour with Turin Brakes is below.
