The Funeral Portrait have released their new song My Future Prediction today via Better Noise Music, paired with a lyric video and with the official video due next week.
It is the Atlanta collective’s first release of 2026 and arrives as the band continue arena runs with Three Days Grace before supporting Black Veil Brides across the UK and Europe in early 2027.

Vocalist Lee Jennings says: “‘My Future Prediction’ is about convincing yourself that a relationship is perfect, even when every warning sign is telling you otherwise. It’s about ignoring the red flags, romanticizing the cracks, and building an entire future in your head with someone you already know, deep down, isn’t the one. Sometimes we fall in love with the life we imagined more than the person standing in front of us.”
My Future Prediction taps into the band’s hybrid of alternative, emo, post-hardcore and rock, spiked with theatrical panache and built toward a chantable chorus. The lyric video underlines the song’s narrative pull while the fuller visual – landing next week – is promised to match the band’s expanding cinematic streak.
The single follows Live From Suffocate City earlier in 2026 and last year’s Greetings From Suffocate City (From Beyond The Abyss: Deluxe Edition).
Powered by Suffocate City featuring Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills and Holy Water featuring Ivan Moody of Five Finger Death Punch, that album campaign has eclipsed 100 million total streams, giving My Future Prediction a sizeable runway into an already-converted audience.
Live, The Funeral Portrait are deep into a busy season. They continue arena dates with Three Days Grace through November, add headline shows with Pinknoise, play Unwrapped dates in December, then head to the UK and Europe on Black Veil Brides’ Vindication Tour in January and February 2027.

My Future Prediction is out now via Better Noise Music. Watch the lyric video, stream the track, and look for the official video next week while the band keep stacking arena rooms on both sides of the Atlantic.
The timing is deliberate. Dropping a relationship-wrecking anthem mid-tour gives the new song an immediate stage life, while the delayed official video keeps the campaign open beyond release day.
For a band whose Suffocate City era already proved they can build theatrical rock into streaming scale, My Future Prediction reads as the first clear signal of what 2026 holds beyond live documents and deluxe editions.
Between Three Days Grace arenas and the Black Veil Brides European run, The Funeral Portrait are spending the next few months in rooms built for choruses that travel.
My Future Prediction is built for exactly that – a hook designed to be shouted back, wrapped in a story about self-deception that fits the band’s dramatic streak. Stream it now and catch the lyric video while the full visual is still on its way.
