Legendary guitarist John 5 has announced that the opening eight dates of his landmark first ever solo UK and European tour have been moved from May to October 2026, due to unforeseeable logistic issues.
Fans with tickets for shows in Southampton, Exeter, Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, Chester, and Wolverhampton are advised that their existing tickets remain valid for the rescheduled October dates. Those who are unable to attend the new dates can claim a full refund from their point of purchase.

The news comes as part of what remains a hugely significant run for the guitarist. This is John 5’s first ever solo tour of the UK and Europe – aside from a small handful of shows back in 2016 – and anticipation has been building since the dates were originally announced earlier this year.
The May leg of the tour now gets underway at London’s The Underworld on Thursday 14th May 2026, with the rescheduled dates picking up again in October.
John 5 himself had this to say about the upcoming run: “I can’t tell you how excited I am to finally bring my solo show back to Europe. It’s been way too long, and the love and loyalty from the fans over the years has meant everything to me. I’m really proud of Ghost, and can’t wait to share these songs with you live. The tour spans an impressive 24 dates across nine countries, with twelve UK appearances alongside shows in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Czech Republic, Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
Joining John 5 on all UK dates as special guest will be Dan Byrne. European dates will be supported by South Of Salem.
The tour is in support of John 5’s latest album, Ghost, released in October 2025 to widespread critical acclaim. It is the most recent in a long line of solo releases from the guitarist, who has put out a dozen solo albums since 2011 – each one a showcase for his remarkable and utterly distinctive playing style.
