Back In Britain
The 2026 shows will mark Jefferson Starship’s first UK performances in more than ten years. While the band have visited continental Europe more recently – supporting Deep Purple in 2024 – British fans have had a long wait.
Founding member David Freiberg reflected on the significance of the return. “It’s been a little over a decade since Jefferson Starship last played the UK,” he said, “so coming back alongside Foreigner makes this run especially meaningful. Stepping onto the stage at Wembley Arena is going to be an incredible moment, and we’re excited to reconnect with UK and European fans.”

A Setlist Full Of Classics
Jefferson Starship will draw on a deep well of hits spanning their time as Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship, and Starship. Fans can expect to hear beloved songs including “White Rabbit”, “We Built This City”, “Jane”, “Sarah”, “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now”, “Find Your Way Back”, “Somebody To Love”, and more.
Few bands can boast a catalogue that stretches across so many eras and sounds. For Jefferson Starship, that breadth is a strength – and a guarantee that any night on this tour is going to cover a serious amount of classic rock ground.

50 Years And Still Flying
Jefferson Starship stand as one of the most successful arena rock acts of the 1970s and 1980s. The band have earned three platinum and eight gold albums, along with a long string of Billboard Top 40 hits.
Having just celebrated their 50th anniversary – a milestone reached by only a handful of enduring rock acts – the band show no signs of slowing down. They continue to bring their iconic catalogue to fans across all 50 US states and on five continents.
The group was founded in the 1970s by the visionary Paul Kantner, whose spirit of musical exploration helped define an era of rock. Today’s lineup carries that torch with conviction.

Founding member David Freiberg anchors the band alongside drummer Donny Baldwin, who has been part of Jefferson Starship since 1982, keyboardist Chris Smith (since 1998), guitarist Jude Gold (since 2012), and vocalist and guitarist Cathy Richardson, who joined in 2008.
It’s a lineup that has toured together long enough to develop the kind of easy chemistry that audiences can feel from the first note. Known for their family-like camaraderie and high-energy live performances, Jefferson Starship embody the restless, adventurous spirit that Kantner championed throughout his life. Kantner passed away in 2016, but his influence remains very much at the heart of the band’s identity.
Guitarist Jude Gold put it plainly: “That ‘Paul Kantner thing’ – getting on a rocket ship and blasting off into the unknown – is the very essence of Jefferson Starship. And that spirit is very much alive in the band today.”

Don’t Miss Out
For UK fans in particular, this is a rare opportunity. Jefferson Starship have not performed on British soil in over ten years, and with two of the three UK and Switzerland dates taking place at major arenas alongside Foreigner, these shows are set to be large-scale events.
The German headline dates in Munich and Leipzig offer a different kind of experience – Jefferson Starship front and centre, with full control of the night. Both formats are worth catching, for different reasons.
Tickets for all five UK and European shows are expected to be in high demand. Whether you’ve been a fan since the Jefferson Airplane days or came to the music through the Starship era, this is a 2026 date worth putting in the diary.
Jefferson Starship’s 2026 UK and European dates are on sale now. Check official channels for ticket information and further tour announcements.
