Novacaine Festival has confirmed the final act for its 2026 edition, revealing the return of fan favourites Night Thieves after weeks of social media teasers built around a mystery slot on the poster.

The modern rock outfit joins headliners As Everything Unfolds, alongside TropicGold, TheCityIsOurs, Hacktivist and more, at Corporation in Sheffield on Saturday 28 November 2026.

Night Thieves’ return follows a standout set at Novacaine’s inaugural 2025 event, where post-festival attendee polling placed them among the top three highest-rated acts of the weekend, alongside DACARA and Reanimate. The band comes back to Sheffield off the release of their debut album METAXIS, and by popular demand from fans.

Novacaine Festival promoter Scott O’Shea explained why the band earned a repeat booking. “Last year, I booked Night Thieves because their debut EP single ‘Polarity’ absolutely blew my mind, and I knew we had to get them for our 2025 debut. When we witnessed them live, the atmosphere was insane. The crowd didn’t stop moving, and neither did the band,” says O’Shea.

He is equally excited for their 2026 return. “This year, the band released their debut album METAXIS, which is once again filled with absolute belters. I think we’re in for an absolute treat,” O’Shea continues.

The announcement also brings the curtain down on months of lineup reveals. “This is the final band to be announced, and honestly, this line up is unbelievable. What I thought we’d be able to organize in five years is happening in year two, and that simply wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support from our attendees and Corporation,” says O’Shea.

Since launching in 2025, Novacaine Festival has quickly established itself as a prime destination for UK alternative music discovery. The event is built around bringing together premier underground acts and tomorrow’s prospective headliners under one roof, giving fans an early look at bands before they break through to bigger stages.

That approach is reflected in the 2026 bill, which pairs established names with rising acts still building their following. As Everything Unfolds headline, with TropicGold as sub headliner, and the rest of the lineup spans a broad cross section of the UK’s current rock and alternative scene.

Corporation has become a key venue for the festival’s growth, offering the kind of intimate setting that suits Novacaine’s focus on discovery over spectacle. Hosting the event there for a second year running underlines how quickly the festival has grown its reputation within Sheffield’s live music scene.
