Gavin Adcock is not one for waiting around, and fans just got a reminder of that. With his third studio album, The Day I Hang It Up, arriving in just over two weeks, Gavin Adcock has surprised listeners with a brand new song, “Through With Me,” available now.
The Georgia native is also inviting fans to help decide more than just what they hear next. As the October 2 release date for the album approaches, Gavin Adcock is asking listeners to vote on which city will host his official album release show. “Through With Me” was written by Gavin Adcock alongside Brody Frazier. The song captures the turmoil of coping with the end of a relationship once the other person has already moved on, a heartbreak theme delivered with the bite Gavin Adcock fans have come to expect.
“We’ve had a lot of love songs lately, but now I think it’s time for a heartbreaker,” Gavin Adcock said of the new release. “Through With Me is just that.”
The song marks the latest release in a steady run of new music from Gavin Adcock ahead of the album. Over the past six weeks, Gavin Adcock has shared a string of instant-grat songs, including “The Day I Hang It Up,” “Workin’ Man,” “Having One Now,” “Anymore,” “Shoes” and “One Hell Of A Steal.”
That run has not gone unnoticed. Country Central praised the single “Shoes,” noting that unfortunately for the haters, Gavin Adcock has done it again. American Songwriter has dubbed Gavin Adcock a modern-day outlaw, while Music Row Magazine pointed to his rowdy, high-octane live performances.
Live shows remain central to the Gavin Adcock story. He is currently underway on the 30-city The Day I Hang It Up Tour 2026, a run built around a rotating lineup of support acts, including Pecos & The Rooftops, Corey Kent, Tyler Nance, Jake Worthington, The Creekers, Braxton Keith and Mack Geiger.
