Europe Unleash Video For Come This Madness Title Track Ahead Of New Album Release

Europe 'Come This Madness' Video Still

Europe have unveiled the title track from their new studio album Come This Madness, along with a video that takes fans behind the scenes of one of the busiest years in the band’s recent history.

Come This Madness is out this Friday, 25 September 2026, via Silver Lining Music, and pre-orders are available now. The title track is the latest preview of the record, following the singles ‘The Cult of Ignorance’, ‘One on One’ and ‘Scandinavian Eyes’.

The song opens with razor-sharp metallic riffs before settling into simmering verses that steadily build the anticipation. It all comes to a head in a huge, explosive chorus built around an instantly anthemic hook.

Along the way, the track moves between mellow, stripped-back passages and bursts of real intensity, with Joey Tempest’s powerhouse vocals and sweeping guitar solos driving it forward.

Rather than a conventional performance clip, the accompanying video is a montage filmed throughout the band’s 2026 album campaign. Shot on the road and in the middle of a relentless schedule, it shows a band operating at full speed.

From the intensity of the live shows to the quieter moments in between, the footage offers a candid look at the energy, excitement and chemistry within Europe as they take Come This Madness out into the world.

For founding member and frontman Joey Tempest, the new album was about reconnecting with the sound and spirit that made the band’s name.

“With Come This Madness, we wanted to write and produce songs in the spirit of the old days,” says Tempest. “There are plenty of soaring melodies and big choruses, and we worked hard on the production. We had a lot of fun in the studio making the album. There are strong connections to our past throughout the record and I think a lot of Europe fans are going to love it!”

The record is billed as another chapter in the enduring legacy of the Swedish rockers, channelling tension, truth and raw energy into songs that feel both personal and relevant to the wider world.

Tempest says the band looked closely at current events while writing, without losing sight of what the music is for.

“With this album, I think we’ve looked around at what’s happening in the world and tried to describe some of it through the songs. But at the end of the day, it’s still entertainment, it’s still music, and most importantly, it’s still about having fun!”

The videos for the album’s three earlier singles were directed by Patric Ullaeus, and all three are available to watch now alongside the new title track.

The release of Come This Madness comes just days before Europe head out on The Final Countdown 40th Anniversary Tour, celebrating four decades since their landmark 1986 album and its worldwide hit title track.

The tour kicks off at the SEC Armadillo in Glasgow on 30 September, followed by Wolverhampton’s Civic Hall and the Eventim Apollo Hammersmith in London. From there, the band head through the Netherlands, France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Austria, Poland and Scandinavia during October.
