The Zac Schulze Gang Announce 2027 UK Headline Tour

Kent Blues Rock Trio, The Zac Schulze Gang have announced their 2027 UK Headline Tour, with their biggest London headline show to date – a night at The Islington Assembly Hall on Saturday February 27th, 2027.

The announcement comes off the back of a sold-out concert at London’s Islington Garage on Saturday April 11, 2026, and a landmark double victory at the UK Blues Awards 2026, where the band claimed the Young Artist of the Year title for the second consecutive year.

Zac Schulze had previously won Emerging Artist of the Year at the UK Blues Awards 2024, before taking Young Artist of the Year in both 2025 and 2026 – a hat-trick of accolades that marks the trio out as one of the most exciting acts in British blues rock right now.

Metal Planet Music has described The Zac Schulze Gang as “a phenomenon in the making,” while Rock News called them “an unstoppable force, poised on the brink of something extraordinary.”

Those aren’t empty words. Over the past few years, the Kent-based trio have built a devoted following through relentless touring across the UK and Europe, supporting the likes of Samantha Fish on multiple tours.

Festival appearances include Eric Clapton’s Crossroads, Planet Rock’s Winter End, Fairport’s Cropredy Festival, and the Rory Gallagher Tribute Festival in Ballyshannon – the stage where the band first truly exploded onto the scene.

The Zac Schulze Gang are best known for their incendiary live shows and their signature blend of 70s classic blues rock and modern alternative influences.

Guitarist Zac Schulze commands the punk intensity of Wilko Johnson, the blues rock finesse of Rory Gallagher, and the adrenaline-fuelled rock presence of AC/DC’s Angus Young.

He rides the thunder generated by the formidable rhythm section of his drummer brother Ben Schulze and bassist Ant Greenwell – a trio locked in tight, unified by a shared sensibility that gives their rock and roll an electrifying charge.

Their sound draws on the heritage of 70s live icons such as Rory Gallagher and Dr Feelgood, while also channelling the raw energy of AC/DC and Thin Lizzy, and nodding to contemporary acts like Royal Blood, Turnstile, and Queens of the Stone Age.

What sets The Zac Schulze Gang apart is the way they balance all of this – massive riffs, blistering solos, and a raw-to-the-bone stage presence – without ever losing sight of what matters most: the songs.

The band’s debut album Straight To It, released in September 2025, is a statement of intent. The title says it all.

There are no niceties here, no slow burns or filler – just blues-infused rock and roll that grabs you by the throat from the first note. Zac Schulze plays with precision, speed, and passion throughout, but the record makes clear that this is very much a gang effort.

The chemistry between Zac, Ben, and Ant is what elevates the material beyond sheer technical firepower and into something genuinely thrilling.

The 2027 UK Headline Tour will mark a new chapter for the band. Sold-out shows in the Netherlands, Germany, and across the UK have already demonstrated that their appeal extends well beyond their home turf, and the step up to The Islington Assembly Hall represents a significant moment – a band confidently ascending to the venues their growing reputation demands.

With two consecutive Young Artist of the Year wins, a debut album already turning heads, and a fanbase that keeps expanding with every show, Zac Schulze and the gang are building something with real momentum. The 2027 UK Headline Tour is the next step – and if the sold-out Islington Garage show is anything to go by, fans would be wise not to sleep on tickets.

Tickets for The Zac Schulze Gang’s 2027 UK Headline Tour go on sale at 10am on Friday April 10th, 2026, from alttickets.com, Gigantic.com, and zacschulzegang.rocks/tour.
