Austin post-hardcore outfit, Porcelain have announced a run of West Coast dates this August, marking their first performances across California and the Pacific Northwest.
The eight-date tour kicks off on August 7 in Vancouver, BC, and wraps on August 15 in Fullerton, CA. Tickets are on sale now HERE.

The band have been candid about the significance of the run. “We’ve been meaning to make it out to the west coast for a couple of years now, so it’s good to finally get to make that happen,” they said in a statement. “We’ve got a new record on the way, so we’re stoked to get back on the road and play to peeps who’ve yet to see us live.”
That new record is the big news lurking behind the tour announcement. Porcelain have confirmed that their sophomore album is complete and will be announced soon, though details on a title, tracklisting, or release date remain under wraps for now. Given the trajectory the band have been on, anticipation will be high.

Porcelain are a four-piece comprising Steve Pike on vocals and guitar, Ryan Fitzgibbon on vocals and guitar, Jordan Emmert on bass, and Eli Deit on drums.
Their sound draws heavily from the angular, dynamic guitar work of the ’80s and ’90s, threading together delicate melodic passages and crushing walls of distortion in a way that feels simultaneously tightly controlled and on the verge of collapse. It is the kind of music that rewards close listening and rewards a live room even more.
The band emerged from Austin’s DIY scene, with members having crossed paths through various previous projects before Porcelain took shape.

The catalyst came from Pike’s desire to start something new following the dissolution of a previous band, and Fitzgibbon’s return from the UK in 2021 brought the pieces together.
Porcelain played their first live show in May 2022, and by 2023 they had released their debut single, “C.O.A.” Two further singles followed in early 2024 – “World I Know” in January and “Plastic” in February – before their self-titled debut album arrived on February 16, 2024, via Portrayal of Guilt Records.
That debut drew on the noise rock and post-hardcore of the late ’90s, with tracks designed to flow into one another rather than stand in isolation. It set a clear tone for what Porcelain were building toward.

The period since has been defined by relentless touring. Porcelain spent the time following their debut album on the road, opening for Chat Pile and Agriculture and sharing stages with a remarkable cross-section of the post-hardcore and experimental rock world – Unwound, the Blood Brothers, Les Savy Fav, Portrayal of Guilt, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Machine Girl, Lightning Bolt, Boris, Big Business, A Place to Bury Strangers, Young Widows, Cherubs, and many more.
That momentum carried into 2025. A spring tour alongside noise rock heavyweights Young Widows and Cherubs was followed by a 7″ release via TODO Records. July brought a support run with Chicago post-rock institution Pelican, with select dates alongside Coalesce.

By the end of the year, Porcelain were playing Levitation’s Halloween Freakend Festival and opening for Unwound at the Texas date of the legendary band’s “30 Years of The Future of What” tour – a significant booking for any post-hardcore act, let alone one still in its early years.
2026 has continued in the same vein. Porcelain have shared bills with Orchid, Uniform, and Touche Amore in the first half of the year, and somewhere in the midst of all that touring activity, they found time to complete their sophomore album.
The West Coast run gives audiences in Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, Oakland, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Fullerton the chance to catch Porcelain at what promises to be a significant moment – on the road with new material ready and a record announcement imminent. The final three California dates feature support from Guck.
