Live Nation and Kennedy Street have officially confirmed that the legendary singer-songwriter Justin Hayward will be returning to British stages this autumn.
The celebrated “Voice of the Moody Blues” is set to embark on an eleven-date trek titled ‘The Story In Your Eyes’ Tour, scheduled to sweep across the UK in October 2026.

For fans of orchestral rock and sophisticated pop songwriting, the tour title carries a deep resonance. It is named after one of Hayward’s most enduring compositions for The Moody Blues, originally released as a single 55 years ago.
The track was a standout feature on the band’s landmark seventh studio album, Every Good Boy Deserves Favour.
Upon its release in 1971, the record became a cultural phenomenon, clinching the No. 1 spot on the UK album charts and maintaining a firm grip on the No. 2 position in the United States for three consecutive weeks.
Reflecting on the upcoming run of shows, Justin Hayward OBE shared his enthusiasm for returning to these historic stages. “So many of the venues we are playing this year hold warm and special memories for me going right back,” Hayward remarked. “Music brings us a world of imagination and I am looking forward to being right there in the middle of that.”
Hayward’s career is one defined by longevity and an uncanny ability to craft “genre-defining” hits. Since joining The Moody Blues in 1966, he has been the primary architect of their melodic identity.
From the early success of “Fly Me High” to the seminal masterpieces “Nights in White Satin” and “Tuesday Afternoon” found on the groundbreaking Days of Future Past, Hayward helped steer the band toward global superstardom.

With 70 million albums sold worldwide and 18 platinum and gold LPs to their name, the group’s legacy was formally cemented with their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
Beyond his work with the band, the tour will likely celebrate Hayward’s extensive solo catalogue and external collaborations. Fans will fondly remember his global Top Ten hit “Forever Autumn” from Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of the Worlds, a production in which he also starred.
His solo output has remained prolific well into the current decade; following the success of albums like Spirits Of The Western Sky and the Tuesday Afternoon Video Series, Hayward recently collaborated with Mike Batt on the 2025 release “Life In A Northern Town.”

The 2026 tour follows an incredibly busy period for the musician, who spent much of 2023 and 2024 on the road across the US and UK, including a series of high-profile “On The Blue” cruises and a co-headlining North American tour with Christopher Cross.
After he completes a further string of US dates throughout April 2026, these October shows will offer a rare, intimate opportunity for UK audiences to experience his music with a truly personal touch.
Tickets for ‘The Story In Your Eyes’ Tour go on general sale starting Friday 20 March 2026. Fans can secure their seats via ticketline.co.uk, ticketmaster.co.uk, or directly through the participating tour venues.
