Enter Shikari have announced the cancellation of all planned North American touring activity for 2026, including two full tour legs and a pair of high-profile festival appearances.

The cancellations cover the band’s June East Coast run, their September/October West Coast run, and scheduled appearances at Vans Warped Tour in Washington D.C. and Summerfest in Milwaukee.

All shows were set to support LOSE YOUR SELF, the band’s surprise 2026 album released via SO Recordings.

In a statement addressing fans in the US and Canada directly, Enter Shikari cited ongoing visa issues as the reason behind the decision – issues that the band say look extremely unlikely to be resolved in time for the financial commitments required to proceed with the tour.

“Hello USA & Canada. We wish we were here with better news,” the band wrote. “Unfortunately, despite best efforts at our end, due to ongoing visa issues that look extremely unlikely to be sorted before some massive financial decisions need to be made, we’re in the position where we have to cancel both legs of the planned touring in North America this year, along with our Warped Tour and Summerfest appearances.”

The band were keen to emphasise that the decision was not taken lightly, expressing genuine disappointment at being unable to bring the new record to North American audiences this year.

“If you know us, you know that this isn’t a decision taken lightly and we’re gutted that we’re not able to be with you in 2026,” the statement continued.

“We’re already starting the process of trying to make plans for 2027 but, with uncertainty around the timeframes getting visas secured, we did not want to simply postpone and reschedule these shows, hence full cancellation and refunding of ticket purchases.”

Enter Shikari closed the statement with an apology and a promise to keep working towards a return: “Once again, we apologise for this situation which is out of our control, and we thank you for your continued support. We were really looking forward to bringing Lose Your Self to you, and we hope to have better news regarding that sooner rather than later.”

All ticket purchases will be refunded at point of purchase. Ticketholders are advised to contact their original ticket provider for further information.

Importantly, the cancellations affect only Enter Shikari’s North American plans. The band’s upcoming shows across other territories remain unaffected. That includes a major UK and European arena run this November, which features two nights at Alexandra Palace in London alongside headline shows in Glasgow, Manchester, Düsseldorf and further European dates.

Enter Shikari formed in St Albans in 2003 and have grown into one of the most respected and enduring acts in British heavy music.

Their seven studio albums have each debuted in the UK top five midweek chart, a streak that culminated in 2023’s A Kiss For The Whole World claiming the band’s first UK Official Albums Chart number one.

Live, the band have long set themselves apart through ambitious, production-led shows that transform venues into full-scale communal experiences. They have headlined multiple UK arena tours, topped bills at major festivals including Slam Dunk, and played close to 3,000 shows across their career.

Multiple-time recipients of Best Live Band and Best UK Artist at the Kerrang!, Rock Sound, NME and Heavy Music Awards, Enter Shikari are widely regarded as one of the finest live acts the UK has produced.

LOSE YOUR SELF, released earlier this year via SO Recordings, marks the band’s eighth studio album and their first as a surprise release – a bold move from a band that has never been afraid to do things differently.

The North American legs were intended to be a significant part of the album campaign, making the visa situation all the more frustrating for a band clearly eager to get in front of their fans across the Atlantic.

With plans already under discussion for 2027, Enter Shikari have made clear that this is a delay rather than a departure – and that North America remains very much on their radar.
