Written specifically for and inspired by the film, “Draw You Out” sees Noah Kahan reunite with Grammy-winning producer Aaron Dessner. The pair co-wrote and co-produced the track, which was recorded at Long Pond Studio in New York and at Gold Pacific Studios and East Iris Studios in Nashville.
For Kahan, joining the world of Panem is a big moment. “Music is such a massive part of the Hunger Games in a lot of ways,” he says. “To be able to speak to what the director sees in these characters, what Suzanne Collins wrote these characters for, and to try to match that is a big task – but a really fun challenge. I just can’t believe that I get to be a part of it.”
The soundtrack is executive produced by Grammy-winning producer Dave Cobb, known for his work with Chris Stapleton and Sturgill Simpson. It brings together 29 artists from across a range of genres, with the album packed with previously unreleased music written specifically for the film and exclusive to the record.
Only Noah Kahan has been confirmed so far, with further artist announcements coming soon. More information on the album can be found on the official soundtrack website.
The 29-track listing gives a few clues as to what to expect. A three-part piece called “The Raven” runs through the album, while “Ruthless”, “Doing The Best That I Can” and “Survive” all appear as arena mixes. Fans of the franchise will also spot “Deep in the Meadow”, the lullaby familiar from the original Hunger Games story.
Directed by Francis Lawrence, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping follows 16-year-old Haymitch Abernathy (Joseph Zada) from District 12. The story begins on the morning of the reaping for the 50th Annual Hunger Games, also known as the Second Quarter Quell, the biggest Games yet with twice as many tributes.
Set in Panem 24 years before the events of The Hunger Games, the film follows Haymitch into the arena. There he forms an unlikely alliance with fellow tribute Maysilee Donner (Mckenna Grace) and joins a coalition determined to challenge the Capitol’s control under President Snow (Ralph Fiennes), setting in motion the rebellion that will change Panem forever.

Based on Suzanne Collins’ best-selling novel, the film also stars Jesse Plemons, Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin, Elle Fanning, Maya Hawke, Whitney Peak and Kelvin Harrison Jr. It is produced by Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson and Francis Lawrence, with a screenplay by Billy Ray and Michael Lesslie.
The Hunger Games franchise has already spawned five record-breaking films, which have taken more than $3.3 billion at the global box office. The world Collins created continues to grow, with a major stage production from Olivier Award-winning playwright Conor McPherson, directed by Matthew Dunster, set to debut in London.
The soundtrack slot caps a remarkable few years for Noah Kahan. The Vermont singer-songwriter’s breakthrough 2022 album Stick Season became a cultural phenomenon, reaching No. 1 across North America, the UK and Europe and becoming the sixth best-selling album of 2024. Its title track has since gone 8x Platinum in the US.
Across his career, the two-time Grammy nominee has amassed nearly 20 billion global streams and sold over 2 million tickets worldwide. In 2023 he launched The Busyhead Project, a mental health non-profit that has raised $13 million to date.

His fourth studio album, The Great Divide, is out now via Mercury Records. Produced by Gabe Simon alongside Aaron Dessner, it debuted at No. 1 in the US and around the world, earned the biggest US streaming debut of 2026 at the time of its release and held the top spot in the US for three consecutive weeks.
The album arrived alongside his Netflix documentary Noah Kahan: Out of Body, which won the 24 Beats Per Second Audience Award at the 2026 SXSW Film Festival.
Kahan is currently on his biggest tour to date, the sold-out Great Divide World Tour, which took him to stadiums across North America this summer and continues with arena dates across the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand this autumn.
