Speaking about the meaning behind the song, Miguel Montalban explained the lyrics: “A worn-down relationship has burned out. The narrator recognizes the connection is gone (‘don’t feel that flame’), struggles internally, then chooses to walk away. It’s about emotional detachment, acceptance, and moving forward – painful, but grounded in self-preservation and a hint of recovery.”
Early working titles considered for the track included Healing Road, Back on My Feet, Move On Now, and Gone for Good, before Stoneburn was settled on as the final title.
Stoneburn was written and composed by Miguel Montalban Music, with production also handled by Miguel Montalban Music. Mixing was done by Miguel Montalban, while mastering was handled by Eroc Ehrig.
Recording credits include TYX Studios, Tyleyard Studios, and Vultures Records, with engineering by Paul Bessone. The lineup on the record features Miguel Montalban on guitars and vocals, Florin Constantin Pascu on drums, and Bruno Pint on bass.
