Queensland-born country artist Mack Geiger has released his debut album Dying In This House today via RECORDS Nashville / Columbia Records, and confirmed his UK and European main-stage debut at Country 2 Country 2027.

The 12-track set leans into neo-traditional country and storytelling, with Geiger solely writing eight songs, including the focus track and title cut Dying In This House.

The album was produced by Keith Stegall (Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band, Randy Travis) and Geiger’s longtime producer Jared Adlam, with co-writes from Nashville writers including Rodney Clawson, Johnny Clawson, Will Bundy, Jim Beavers, Bart Butler, Wyatt McCubbin, Seth Ennis, Rob Snyder, Tim Nichols, Tony Martin and Mark Nesler.

“Dying In This House channels a broken man’s walk through loneliness, heartache, and denial, but also glimmers of hope,” Geiger said. “I’ve always been drawn to songs which paint pictures, and I feel like this album does just that.”

He added that amid the ballads sit moments of grounding that spark motivation and pride to push forward – “dust yourself off and jump back in the ring.”

The album arrives after a breakout year. String By has surpassed 110 million global streams, reached No. 3 on Spotify’s Viral 50 USA, landed in the Top 50 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and reached the Top 40 on the Global Country Shazam chart, helping earn Geiger recognition as Billboard Country’s September Up & Comer.

Since releasing debut EP Walk A Straight Line in May, he has made his CMA Fest debut, completed a first US headline run on the New Dirt, Same Boots Tour, and earned a standing ovation at his Grand Ole Opry debut during the OPRY 100 celebration in June.

Geiger keeps moving through the When It’s Pouring Tour across North America this November and December, including a return to the Grand Ole Opry on 7 November and several sold-out dates. Looking to 2027, he will join Brooks & Dunn in Australia and appear at Stagecoach, GoldenSky, Hoofbeat, Two Step Inn and Country 2 Country, with more dates to come.

C2C 2027 puts him on the main stage in Rotterdam and Berlin before London, Glasgow and Manchester:

6 March – Uber Eats Music Hall, Berlin, DE
12 March – OVO Hydro, Glasgow, UK

Raised an hour from school and seven hours outside Brisbane, Geiger first soaked up country on long family drives, learned his first chords from his dad, busked through high school and worked cattle stations while playing long bar cover sets.

About Time peaked in the Top 40 of the CountryTown Australia chart before String By opened the international door. Catalog streams now sit beyond 162 million globally, with invites to CountryFest, Strummingbird, Lasso and CMC Rocks, plus earlier tour support for Warren Zeiders and Drake Milligan.

From Queensland to Nashville and now to stages across the UK and Europe, Dying In This House is Geiger’s fullest introduction yet – honest songwriting, a neo-traditional sound, and a touring calendar that keeps widening. The album is out today.
