Kezia Gill has released a deeply personal new video for ‘Life You Always Dreamed Of’, a track taken from her critically acclaimed debut Number One album, All On Red.

The video, which premiered with Entertainment Focus, charts the singer-songwriter’s journey from her earliest days playing rowdy pub gigs to a headline show at the iconic Rock City in Nottingham – a number that celebrated the arrival of a Number One record and marked a defining moment in her career.

Reflecting on the visual, Kezia Gill said: “This is an emotional one. It feels like watching 35 years in three and a half minutes. The song itself is an honest unveiling of my place in the music industry; a promise to keep pushing and a determination to prove that I have something to say.”

“I feel this video shows how I have physically done that; years’ worth of gigging, rowdy pubs and big dreams, all leading to a hometown show at the iconic Rock City in Nottingham, celebrating my first Number One album. I’m proud of myself and I’m proud of this video.”

The video captures everything that makes Kezia Gill one of the most compelling figures in UK country music right now. It is life-affirming and honest, putting years of hard work and big dreams into three and a half minutes of footage that traces a very real artistic journey.

‘Life You Always Dreamed Of’ is one of eleven tracks on All On Red, released earlier this year via Snakefarm/Universal. The album arrived to significant media support, earning a place on the BBC Radio 2 playlist, multiple Planet Rock A-Lists, and a national daytime television appearance on Jeremy Vine.

Fans and critics responded in kind, sending the record straight to the top of the UK country chart.

All On Red was produced and mixed by US artist Alyssa Bonagura alongside a selection of award-winning musicians. It represents a bold creative statement from Kezia Gill – one that blends the craft and sonic quality associated with Nashville with the storytelling instincts and honesty she considers central to her identity as a British artist.

Kezia Gill described the album in her own words: “This is the best album I’ve written. It feels like a body of work that combines the sound and skill associated with Nashville with what I stand for in terms of storytelling and honesty as a proud British artist. The title of the record encapsulates the process. I went all in – I put it ‘All On Red’!”

Drawing on her Celtic heritage – Kezia hails from a musical family of Irish descent – the album is rooted in blues, Irish folk and Americana just as much as country, both traditional and modern. It is a record that wears its influences openly while remaining unmistakably her own.

“It’s a Nashville quality record with a British heart,” she has said of the project, a description that feels entirely accurate once the music takes hold.

The album also arrives at a moment of wider recognition for Kezia Gill as an artist.

She was recently out on the road across the UK and Europe supporting multiple Grammy winner Rodney Crowell, and last year received a nomination for Entertainer of the Year at the British Country Music Association Awards – one of several honours and nominations she has accumulated from bodies across the genre in recent years.

Following a headline tour earlier in the year, Kezia Gill now turns her attention to a packed festival schedule for the summer of 2026.

Among the highlights is a main stage slot at the inaugural State Fayre festival in Chelmsford on 26th June – an event headlined by Kings Of Leon, Alanis Morissette and The Lumineers. It is the kind of billing that underlines just how far Kezia Gill has come, and the video for ‘Life You Always Dreamed Of’ makes that journey impossible to ignore.
