Five Finger Death Punch have released their brand-new single “Eye Of The Storm” today, marking the first taste of music from their highly anticipated tenth studio album, which is currently being recorded in Los Angeles and expected to arrive later this year.
The release comes hot on the heels of last week’s announcement of the band’s 2027 European tour dates – the third leg of their ongoing 2026-2028 World Tour.

In the days leading up to the single’s arrival, Five Finger Death Punch posted snippets of new material across social media, setting off a wave of excitement among fans and industry observers alike. Those previews spread rapidly, generating widespread speculation well before the full track dropped.
“Eye Of The Storm” arrives as the band’s 31st top ten single, and early indicators suggest it is already following the same trajectory as its predecessors. For a group that has racked up 30 top ten hits, 18 Active Rock number ones, and a record-setting 13 consecutive Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart-toppers – the longest such run in the format’s history – the bar is set high.
On the evidence of the fan reaction so far, Five Finger Death Punch appear to have cleared it without breaking stride.
Founding guitarist Zoltan Bathory has spoken candidly about what listeners can expect from the forthcoming album. The band had nearly three years to write and develop the record, starting with close to 30 songs before cutting the final tracklist down to 14 or 15. A double album was even considered at one point.
“The new music has been turning out heavier than anything we’ve done in years, with a cinematic undertone running beneath it,” Bathory said. “This is our 10th studio album and our 20th anniversary as a band – we knew we had to hit it hard. What excites me most is that I’m hearing the early era again – that grit, that bite, that aggression – while simultaneously exploring completely new territories.”

Bathory was also full of praise for vocalist Ivan Moody’s contributions to the record. “My brother Ivan is bringing some incredible lyrics and melodies, and his voice sounds absolutely huge on this record,” he added. “It feels like coming home at full speed. I am really looking forward to the next decade.”
The album announcement ties directly into Five Finger Death Punch’s 20th Anniversary World Tour, which launches this summer across North America before heading to UK and European arenas in early 2027.
The 48-city North American leg, produced by Live Nation, opens on Monday 20th July at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, NJ, and runs through to Friday 23rd October at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, VA.

Joining Five Finger Death Punch on the North American run are special guests Cody Jinks and Eva Under Fire. The latter’s current single “Villainous”, featuring Maria Brink of In This Moment, is currently climbing the Rock Charts and sitting at number 15 this week.
The 20th Anniversary World Tour is both a celebration and a statement. Formed in 2005 and debuting with The Way Of The Fist in 2007, Five Finger Death Punch have grown from Las Vegas upstarts into genuine global arena headliners.
The tour will draw from the new album alongside the classic hits that have defined the band’s two-decade career. As with previous tours, Five Finger Death Punch are also using their platform for charitable purposes.

Long recognised as one of the most giving acts in rock, the band has donated over a million dollars from ticket sales, royalties, and streaming revenue to causes including military veterans, first responders, suicide prevention, youth homelessness, and cancer research.
For the 2026 North American run, a portion of all ticket sales will benefit high-performance programmes for US Olympic and Paralympic athletes as they prepare for the Los Angeles 2028 Games – a cause the band have formally aligned with as part of their ongoing commitment to supporting America’s next generation of athletes.
The charitable credentials of Five Finger Death Punch are well documented. The Association of the United States Army awarded the band its prestigious Soldier Appreciation Award – an honour previously bestowed only upon Elvis Presley.

The City of Las Vegas officially declared 1st November as Five Finger Death Punch Day. And vocalist Ivan Moody was awarded the key to the City of Cheyenne, Wyoming, in recognition of his philanthropic work in the community.
The band’s history of collaboration is equally impressive. Five Finger Death Punch have worked alongside Rob Halford, Rob Zombie, Jamey Jasta, Steve Aoki, and Max Cavalera, while also using their platform to expose newer artists to their enormous global fanbase.
Founding guitarist Zoltan Bathory was added as a playable character in Call of Duty in 2023, and the band concluded a two-year global stadium run with Metallica at the end of 2024.
Their most recent releases – Best Of Volume 1 and Best Of Volume 2 – feature newly re-recorded versions of their biggest hits, including number one singles “I Refuse” featuring Maria Brink and “The End” featuring BABYMETAL.
The latter made history as the first track featuring Japanese-language lyrics to chart at Rock Radio in the United States. Both compilations were created in direct response to the sale of the band’s original masters without their knowledge.
