Ahead of the album’s release, Drew Baldridge is taking fan favourite “Diesel & Dirt” to radio – a song that captures the heart of where he comes from and the work ethic that has carried him through his career.
Written by Drew Baldridge alongside Jordan Walker and Adam Sanders, “Diesel & Dirt” is a high-energy celebration of Drew Baldridge’s upbringing on his grandfather’s farm. As Drew Baldridge puts it, there are two things you need to make it on a farm: diesel and dirt.
Driven by distorted guitars and heavy-duty drums, the track spotlights the simple ingredients that keep each generation working the land, while delivering a message of grit, resilience and determination.

The song is particularly personal for Drew Baldridge, who even managed to work his wife’s name into the lyrics. He also sees “Diesel & Dirt” as part of a return to the kind of authentic farm songs that have become less common in recent years, drawing inspiration from tracks such as Jason Aldean’s “Amarillo Sky”.
With Farm Faith Family, Drew Baldridge is putting those roots front and centre, sharing the story of the life that brought him to Nashville in the first place.
The story of Drew Baldridge is rooted in the three pillars of Farm Faith Family. Raised on a farm in Southern Illinois, Drew Baldridge learned hard work, grit and perseverance – values that continue to shape both his life and music today.
His faith keeps Drew Baldridge grounded through every season, while his wife and boys remain the heart behind everything he does. At its core, Drew Baldridge’s journey is about staying true to yourself, working hard, and proving the good guys can finish first.
“Farm Faith Family isn’t just an album title – it’s who I am,” says Drew Baldridge. “Everything I have and everything I believe in comes back to those three things. These songs tell my story, the lessons I’ve learned, and the people who have shaped me along the way.”
For Drew Baldridge, the album arrives at a milestone moment. After feeling defeated when he lost his record deal in 2020, the Southern Illinois native bet on himself, independently releasing music and performing hundreds of private backyard concerts during the pandemic.
That persistence paid off when “She’s Somebody’s Daughter (Reimagined)” became a Platinum-certified number one hit, making Drew Baldridge the first self-funded artist ever to top the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart and the highest-charting independent artist in Billboard Country Airplay history.
Today, the catalog of Drew Baldridge has amassed more than 2 billion career streams and views, a remarkable achievement for an artist who built his career from the ground up.
Known for his authenticity and unwavering connection with fans, Drew Baldridge has built a career by staying true to himself. Farm Faith Family stands as both a celebration of that journey and a testament to the belief that hard work, integrity and perseverance still matter.
Farm Faith Family will be released on September 18 via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville, with “Diesel & Dirt” now serving as the album’s radio single. Fans can expect the full 16-track record to arrive with the same honesty and heart that has defined the career of Drew Baldridge so far.
