The show marks RAYE’s second symphonic project, following My 21st Century Symphony, which she first staged at the Royal Albert Hall in 2023 with the 50-piece Heritage Orchestra and Flames Collective.
That original one-night-only performance was filmed for the music film Live At The Royal Albert Hall, which was released on vinyl, broadcast on the BBC and PBS, and nominated for Best Music Film at the 68th Grammy Awards. In 2024, she took My 21st Century Symphony to The O2 London for a sold-out headline show.
To celebrate the announcement, RAYE has shared a new orchestral rendition of album track “I Will Overcome”, recorded at London’s Abbey Road Studios with the London Symphony Orchestra. Out now on YouTube, the recording offers a first glimpse of the expansive sound fans can expect at the Royal Albert Hall.
The song has already had a big moment this year. RAYE performed it at the 2026 MTV VMAs alongside “Where Is My Husband!”, drawing widespread acclaim for both performances.
“Where Is My Husband!” has now passed one billion streams on Spotify. Close to a year after its release, the single is still charting around the world, having reached No.1 in the UK and spent 30 weeks on the US Billboard Hot 100 to date. It is also RAYE’s second Top 10 hit on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart.
The track has picked up a long list of certifications along the way, including Diamond in Brazil, France and Belgium, 5 x Platinum in Ireland, 4 x Platinum in Australia, 2 x Platinum in the UK and Platinum in the US.
Released in March 2026, This Music May Contain Hope reached No.1 in the UK, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Belgium, and the Top 5 in Austria, Norway, Ireland, Germany, New Zealand, Denmark, Portugal and Croatia.
The 17-track album unfolds across four “seasons”, moving from darkness into light and blending pop, R&B, jazz, big band, soul and orchestral influences. Across the record, hope is presented not as naive idealism but as something hard-earned and transformative, which makes it a natural fit for a full orchestral treatment.

The album has been named one of the Mercury Prize Albums of the Year, with the ceremony taking place this October. RAYE was also nominated at this year’s VMAs for Song Of The Year for “Where Is My Husband!” and Best Visual Effects for “Click Clack Symphony”.
In September, she released the official video for her latest single, “Joy”, which features her sisters and fellow artists Amma and Absolutely. For the video, the three sisters took to the streets of London in a van they named the “Joymobile”, surprising passersby with sunflowers and capturing their reactions.
RAYE brought her sisters on stage to perform “Joy” during her headline set at Reading Festival at the end of August, and the track has since been added to playlists at BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2 and Capital.
The Royal Albert Hall date rounds off a huge year on stage. RAYE has played 51 dates across the UK, Europe and the USA on her This Tour May Contain New Music run, including six sold-out nights at London’s The O2, as well as Radio City Music Hall and the Greek Theatre. She is currently joining Bruno Mars as a special guest on 23 North American stadium dates of The Romantic Tour, where “Joy” has become a nightly favourite.

Since 2014, the South London artist has charted 20 UK Top 40 singles and passed 10 billion cumulative streams. In 2024 she made history at the BRIT Awards, winning six trophies including Album of the Year, the most BRITs ever won by an artist in a single year.
Her other honours include the Ivor Novello Award for Songwriter of the Year, Best UK & IE Artist at the MTV EMAs, the Ivors Academy’s Songwriter Advocate Award and Variety’s Triple Threat Award. She has previously been nominated for Best New Artist and Songwriter of the Year (Non-Classical) at the Grammys.

Earlier this year, the Recording Academy honoured RAYE with the Harry Belafonte Best Song For Social Change CEO Merit Award for “Ice Cream Man”, her raw and honest song amplifying the voices of sexual assault survivors.
With the new show, RAYE returns to the venue where her symphonic journey began, this time with an album that has taken her to the top of the charts around the world.
