Bryan Adams Releases New Single How’s It Goin’ Ahead Of Canada-Inspired Album

Bryan Adams

Bryan Adams has released his brand new single ‘How’s It Goin”, the title track of his forthcoming album. The record arrives on 6th November via Bad Records and is available to pre-order now.

The album is a deeply personal love letter to Canada, and the new single sets the tone. Adams takes the country’s simplest greeting and turns it into an up-tempo, acoustic-driven stomper that is equal parts energetic and witty.

Lyrically, the song is a snapshot of Canada today. It travels from Vancouver rain and the prairie plains to Montreal, the Maritimes and the Yukon, packed with cultural references, humour and sharp observations on modern Canadian life.

It shows a lighter, more playful side of Adams, but the affection for its subject is clear throughout. As the opening track and title song, it acts as a fitting front door to a record built entirely around home.

To mark the release, Bryan Adams is heading out on three intimate UK out-store shows next week, all of which have already sold out. Fans lucky enough to have a ticket can expect a handful of acoustic solo songs, a playback of tracks from the new album and a Q&A session with the man himself.

The out-store shows take place on the following dates.

16th October – Norwich, UEA
17th October – Leeds, TESTBED
18th October – Kingston, Circuit

For an artist who spends most of his time filling arenas around the world, these small-room shows offer something very different. They are a chance for fans to hear Adams up close and stripped back, and to get an early listen to the new songs before the album lands in November.

The intimate shows are a rare change of pace from the arena circuit. Adams is in the middle of his extensive Roll With The Punches world tour, and he has just announced further European dates. Full tour dates and tickets can be found at bryanadams.com.

With How’s It Goin’, Bryan Adams turns his unmistakable songwriting and voice towards home. The album is rooted in the people, places, landscapes and stories that have shaped Canada, drawing on country, folk and rock to create a sound that is at once expansive and intimate, cinematic and personal.

The track listing alone shows how wide he has cast the net. ‘The Battle Of Lundy’s Lane’ takes its name from the War of 1812 clash fought near Niagara Falls, while ‘The Ballad Of Terry Fox’ nods to the Canadian hero whose 1980 Marathon of Hope across the country made him a national icon.

Elsewhere, ‘When Canada Joined Newfoundland’ playfully flips the story of Newfoundland becoming part of Canada in 1949. Songs such as ‘Highway 16’, ‘Diesel & Dirt’ and ‘Canada’s Wild Eastern Edge’ head out onto the open road and the rugged coastline.

From its landscapes and history to the extraordinary characters and moments in the Canadian story, Adams finds inspiration in both the familiar and the unexpected. At its heart, How’s It Goin’ is about home: the humour, the resilience and the stories that make Canada what it is.

It is Adams looking back at the country that shaped him, while finding new ways to tell its stories. The album follows 2025’s Roll With The Punches, his 16th studio album, which was nominated for Rock Album of the Year at the 2026 JUNO Awards.
