Josh Groban and Teddy Swims have been announced as performers at the Recording Academy and Grammy Museum’s 2026 Grammy Hall of Fame Gala, where they will deliver a special tribute to Warner Records.

The event takes place on Friday, 8 May at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.

Warner Records has been named this year’s recipient of the Visionary of Music Award – a prestigious honour recognising the label’s enduring contributions to recorded music and its long history of championing artists whose work has left a lasting mark on music and culture.

Josh Groban, a five-time Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and actor, and Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Teddy Swims will take to the stage together to celebrate the label’s extraordinary legacy.

The pairing of Groban and Swims – two artists whose careers exemplify the kind of long-term development Warner Records is renowned for – makes for a compelling centrepiece to an already stacked evening.

Warner Records Co-Chairmen Aaron Bay-Schuck and Tom Corson responded to the award with a statement that spoke to the label’s core philosophy. “Artist development has always been at the heart of Warner Records and remains our greatest strength,” they said.

“Everything we do begins with a deep commitment to supporting artists, building careers over time, and giving creative voices the freedom and foundation for long-term success. We’re grateful to the Recording Academy and the Grammy Museum to be recognised in this way.”

Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason jr. was equally effusive. “For more than 60 years, Warner Records has been a trailblazing force in the industry, nurturing and elevating some of music’s most influential acts,” he said. “I’ve long admired their unwavering commitment to championing artists and creative excellence, as well as their ability to evolve with the industry while continuing to shape its future.”

Grammy Museum President and CEO Michael Sticka added that Warner Records has been home to generations of artists whose music has resonated with audiences around the world, calling the label a fitting recipient of the Visionary of Music Award for its role in bringing influential recordings into the cultural canon.

Josh Groban and Teddy Swims join a lineup that was already turning heads. Previously announced performers include Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient and Funkadelic founder George Clinton, alongside Heart’s founding members Ann and Nancy Wilson – both of whom are also Lifetime Achievement Award recipients.

Multi-Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Lucinda Williams and acclaimed a cappella gospel sextet Take 6 round out the confirmed acts so far, with more performers still to be announced.

Multi-Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and pianist Norah Jones will also perform at the Gala, where she will additionally be presented with the Ray Charles Architect of Sound Award. Each performance is set to pay tribute to one of the 2026 Grammy Hall of Fame inductees, with specific tribute pairings still to be confirmed.

This year’s inducted recordings span nearly a century of music history, and the list is as diverse as it is distinguished. The 14 titles include 2Pac’s All Eyez On Me, Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814, and Radiohead’s OK Computer.

Also inducted are recordings by Alice Coltrane, Bertha “Chippie” Hill, Ella Jenkins, Eric B. & Rakim, Funkadelic, Heart, Lucinda Williams, Nick Drake, The Rouse Brothers, Selena, and The Soul Stirrers.

The breadth of that list reflects the Grammy Hall of Fame’s mission since its establishment in 1973 – to recognise recorded music that has had a lasting qualitative or historical significance.

Inductees are selected annually by a special committee of music professionals, with final ratification by the Recording Academy’s National Board of Trustees.

Returning as host for the evening is respected journalist Anthony Mason. The show will be produced by former Grammy Awards Executive Producer Ken Ehrlich, alongside Renato Basile, Chantel Sausedo, Lindsay Saunders Carl, and Lynne Sheridan. Musical direction will be handled by Grammy and Latin Grammy Award-winning composer, producer, and conductor Cheche Alara.

With Josh Groban and Teddy Swims now confirmed as part of the lineup, and further announcements still to come, the 2026 Grammy Hall of Fame Gala is shaping up to be one of the most compelling nights on the music industry calendar this year.
